On September 21, 2021, at approximately 7:00 PM, a 26-year-old male attended an address located on Royal Crescent to confront the residents regarding ongoing issues. All parties are known to each other.
The 26-year-old attended the backyard where he encountered one of the occupants and the situation quickly escalated into a physical altercation. As the fight continued another male, who also resides at the address, became involved in the fight.
Finally, a fourth male, who was present, assisted in breaking up the fight at which point it was observed that the 26-year-old was bleeding and required medical assistance.
Police and Lambton Paramedics attended the scene.
The victim was transported to hospital for his injuries where he remains with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The two other males that were involved in the altercation were subsequently arrested without incident.
Austin Crowe, 27 years of age, and Jesse Mitchell Crowe, 25 years of age, both of Sarnia, face one count of aggravated assault each.
Both Austin and Jesse have been released from custody with an initial court date of November 2, 2021, at the Sarnia Lambton Courthouse located at 700 North Christina Street.
Currently, Sarnia Police remain on scene awaiting a warrant to be signed and then executed to allow for a search of residence for evidence related to the crime. The scene should be cleared later today.
