The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 230 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
8 – Alarms
8 – Ambulance assists
10 – Disturb the peace
16 – Domestic disputes
5 – Family disputes
12 – Noise complaints
14 – Person welfare / well-being checks
7 – Thefts
9 – Traffic complaints
10 – Trespass to property
20 – Unwanted persons
4 – Mischief
4 – Assaults
Road officers conducted approximately 37 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 25 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
