On June 4, 2021, members of the Sarnia Police Vice Unit applied for and were granted a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Warrant for a residence in the 600 block of Cherry Drive. Officers from the Vice Unit were investigating a suspect who was alleged to be trafficking cocaine in the City of Sarnia.
On June 4, 2021, at approximately 6:15 PM, the suspect vehicle was stopped by a marked police cruiser and the driver was taken into custody.
A search of the suspect and the vehicle located cash and cocaine.
A search of the suspect’s residence on Cherry Drive located further drugs and cash.
In total officers were able to seize $1,140 in cash and 48.60 g of cocaine with a street value of $4860.
The suspect in this matter, Stephen Cryderman, 31 years of age, of Sarnia, faces the charge of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine).
Cryderman’s first court appearance, regarding this incident, will be on July 28, 2021, at 9:30 AM, at 700 Christina Street North.
