Sarnia Police Traffic Branch is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a hit and run collision today just after the noon hour at the intersection of Wellington and MacKenzie Streets in the central part of the city. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model red Dodge Caravan with damage to the right front corner. This van was being operated by a younger male, most likely in his 20′s. The van had been southbound on MacKenzie Street and failed to stop at the stop sign. It collided with a vehicle that was eastbound on Wellington Street. The eastbound vehicle stopped but the van continued on from the area.
