Vice Unit Investigation Update

Members of the Sarnia Police Vice Unit were involved in a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking. As a result of that investigation, four persons were arrested on March 2, 2017, at around 6 PM, for drug related offences.

One female was released unconditionally.

Randall Anthony Gillis, 46, of Sarnia, was released from custody on a recognizance of bail from Sarnia court on March 3, 2017.

Nicole Odia, 45 of Mississauga, was also released on a recognizance of bail from Sarnia court on March 3, 2017.

Mark Clarke, 33, of Mississauga remains in custody in Sarnia.

A search of the vehicle involved in the investigation, yielded, among other items, 56 grams of cocaine, with a street value estimated at $5600.

Also seized from Randall Gillis was $3400 in Canadian currency.

Clarke, Gliis and Odia were charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine. Clarke and Odia are further charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Clarke also faces a charge of dangerous driving and possession of marihuana under thirty grams.
