On March 6, 2017, at approximately 7:40 am, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a call regarding a theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Twin Lakes Drive in the City of Sarnia.
The complaint advised police that sometime overnight someone had gone through two vehicles in the driveway, but it appears nothing was taken from the first vehicle. A second vehicle, which was a company vehicle, did have items taken from it. The vehicle was locked up and contained equipment that performs tests that ultrasounds and x-rays pipelines.
Some of the equipment locked under the tonneau cover included an OmniScan SX Phased Array probe, along with other gauges and probes. The value of the equipment stolen was into the thousands of dollars.
Members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are currently investigating the matter and would appreciate the public’s assistance.
