On Friday December 18, 2015 just after 5:30 p.m. Sarnia Police attended a three vehicle collision at Finch Drive and Wellington Street. During the collision investigation the officer on scene administered a road- side breath test to one of the drivers involved. The 26 year old driver registered a fail on the instrument and was transported to the Sarnia Police Station for further breath test. Further test indicated the man was over twice the legal limit to drive.
Elliott W. PAYNE of Sarnia was charged with impaired driving and driving while over the legal limit and released with a court date.
