On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 just after 6:00 a.m. Sarnia Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Rosedale Avenue near Laidlaw Place. Upon arrival officers discovered the male driver had fled on foot leaving behind a 20 year old female passenger. The suspects’ vehicle, a 2005 two door GMC Jimmy, brown in colour, had been west bound on Rosedale Avenue when it left the road and struck a tree. The female passenger was transported to Bluewater Health with non-life threatening injuries. The male suspect is described as white, with a slim build and wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt. The male suspect possibly has facial injuries as a result of the collision and police are concerned for his well-being.
