The Sarnia Police Service would like to remind the public that all road signs must be obeyed. Road closed signs set up around areas of construction are in place to ensure the safety of the workers and the travelling public. On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 a Sarnia Police Service traffic officer issued eleven tickets for people disobeying a “Road Closed” sign on Confederation Street at East Street. The officer monitored the area for a two hour period between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. This offense carries a fine of $110.00.
