Police Looking for Knife Used in Weekend Stabbing

The Sarnia Police Service is looking for a knife used in a weekend stabbing.

On June 20, 2015 just after 11:00 p.m. a 39 year old female stabbed a 39 year old male. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Confederation Street and the two were known to each other. The male was transported to Bluewater Health with none life threatening injuries. The female is being held facing charges including assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and two counts of breach of probation. Criminal Investigations officers are asking people in the area to be aware that the knife has not been recovered and was possibly discarded in that area. It is described as a one foot long white handled kitchen knife.
