The officer activated the lights on his cruise to pull over the E bike driver.  He wobbled to a stop, crossing the road to the correct side.  He identified himself and reeked of alcohol.  The bike is powered by and electric motor and the pedals were folded back and not in use.

The man was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.  When he was taken to police headquarters, he registered over twice the legal limit.  Ernest Robert Sitzes, aged 47, or Sarnia faces charges of Impaired Operation and Drive with Over 80 MG.   He will make an April court appearance.
