The Sarnia Police Traffic Branch continues to investigate a weekend collision that occurred on Blackwell Side Road.
At about 8:30 p.m. Saturday May 23, 2015, a vehicle was travelling north on Blackwell Side Road when it left the road between Michigan Line and Blackwell Road. The vehicle ended up in a field on the east side of the road before catching on fire. The 30 year old male driver and a 17 year old passenger were transported to Bluewater Health with minor injuries. Blackwell Side Road was closed to traffic until about 1:00 p.m. the next day while the Collision Reconstructionist performed their duties. Traffic Branch continues to investigate.
