Sarnia Police arrested three Kitchener-Waterloo area men for drug related charges on Saturday February 14, 2015.
Just after 3:00 p.m. a member of the C.O.P.P.S. unit noticed three men in a car travelling south on Indian Road and conducted a traffic stop after noticing unusual driving behavior. During conversation with the three men the officer noticed drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs in the car and arrested the three. One of the passengers, a 42 year old man, was already released on bail for drug offences and had a condition not to be in Lambton County. A 39 year old passenger was also on probation. The third occupant of the vehicle was a 55 year old man.
The total amount of suspected methamphetamine seized was approximately 50 grams along with a small amount of marihuana.
All three are to be charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. Other charges to be laid on the three males range from possession of a controlled substance breach of recognizance and breach of probation.
All three were held for a bail hearing.
