The Sarnia Police Service is investigating a report of a suspicious person stopping to speak to a young girl.
At about 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon a small black car stopped in the parking lot across from the hospital on Norman Street. It appears the driver attempted to speak to the young girl. The girl ran from the area towards a crossing guard and the car drove off. A Sarnia Police officer, who was in the hospital on an unrelated matter, and a Paramedic observed the interaction but were unable to get a license plate number.
Police have no description of the driver and the car is described as a black Pontiac Sunfire orG5. Officers continue to investigate.
