On January 17, 2015 shortly before 9:00 pm, Sarnia Police were dispatched to the area of Christina St. and Exmouth St. regarding a single vehicle motor collision. Upon arrival officers observed that a vehicle hand stuck a traffic standard on the south side of Exmouth St. and the car had extensive damage. There were no injuries in the collision.
Due to existing grounds, the investigating officer demanded that the man supply a breath sample into an approved road side device. The 75 year old man refused and was then arrested and charged.
Douglas Waller born on January 3, 1940 was charged with failing to provide a breath sample into an approved screening device. He was then held in police custody until sober and released on a promise to appear with a court date of March 3, 2015.
