Sarnia Police arrested two young females in two separate incidents for impaired driving over the long weekend.
The first incident took place on Friday, October 10, 2014 at around 11:30 PM in the 1000 block of Finch Drive. The 20 year old Wallaceburg woman lost control of the vehicle she was driving, crossed over oncoming lanes and ended up on the boulevard. She was taken to the Sarnia Police Station and provided breath samples which showed she was three times the legal limit. Allana Leigh-Ann HENRY of Wallaceburg has been charged with Impaired Operation and Driving with More than 80mgs.
The second incident took place on Monday, October 12, 2014 shortly after 2:00 AM in the 700 block of Devine Street. A 24 year old Sarnia woman was driving a SUV westbound on Devine Street and collided with a parked car on Devine Street. Officers arrested the woman and took her to the Sarnia Police Station where she refused to provide a sample of her Breath. Erica Suze WITHERIDGE has been charged with Failing to Provide a Breath Sample.
Both young ladies received a 90 day licence suspension.
