Sarnia Police assisted in the escort of a Sabre F-86 Mk5 Jet through the city to a site where the plane will be refurbished.
This aircraft is one of the original 6 Golden Hawk Aircraft which performed for the RCAF from the late 50’s to early 60’s. The plane, which is owned by the Sarnia 403 Wing RCAFA is being refurbished by COPA Flight 7 and members of the community for the Sarnia Centennial Project.
