Sarnia Police are investigating a collision that occurred last night just after 11:00 pm involving a cyclist.
The cyclist was travelling south on Russell Street when he was struck by a dark coloured motor vehicle travelling east on Bright Street. The cyclist was transported to Bluewater Health with non-life threatening injuries. The motor vehicle failed and driver failed to stop and render assistance to the cyclist. The motor vehicle was last seen travelling south bound on Russell Street with front end damage.
The intersection of Russell Street, and Bright Street will remain closed until approximately 8:00 am while the Traffic Branch continues to investigate the collision. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Ron Szabo #127 at (519) 344-8861 Ext 6127
