On Monday, July 14, 2014, shortly after 9:00 pm in the 200 block of Bright Street in the City of Sarnia several young men broke into a residence.
The home was vacant as the residents were away on vacation but thanks to a neighbor the men were observed at the rear sliding door of the home breaking in. Police were called and the officers were able to arrest 2 young men for the break and enter which were located still in the area and with stolen property on their person. A third party still remains unidentified.
Fortunately, the property that was stolen by the 2, that were arrested, was also retrieved.
Both men were held for a bail hearing on this date. One will face charges of break and enter to commit theft, possession of stolen property, fail to comply with Officer in Charge Undertaking and three counts of breach of probation.
The other was arrested for break and enter to commit theft, possession of stolen property and possession of a prohibited weapon that being a prohibited knife.
