On Thursday, July 10th, 2014 Sarnia Police Service’s Vice Officers along with assistance from the COPPS unit conducted a search warrant at approximately 9:30pm in the 700 block of Rogers Street in the City of Sarnia.
Upon entering the residence no one was home but a quantity of marihuana and methamphetamine was located along with other drug paraphernalia. At approximately 10:40 pm the home owner returned and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Upon being searched a quantity of Fentanyl and methamphetamine were found to be on the person.
The person charged in this matter was an Amy Knight, March 20, 1990. She has been charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (one for Fentanyl and the other for methamphetamine) and one charge for possession of a controlled substance that being marihuana. Ms. Knight was held for a bail hearing.
The quantities of drugs seized were as follows: 10.8 grams of Methamphetamine street value of $1320.00, 100 mcg of Fentynal with a street value of $400.00 and 4.7 grams of Cannabis Marihuana valued at approximately $50.00.
