With tax time upon us, Sarnia Police Service is advising the public of an online fraud currently circulating. Below is an example of what the email may look like. Canada Revenue Agency does not request taxpayer information via email. Delete the message, do not open it or click on links.

After the last annual calculation of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $312.00. Regarding this, please complete the Refund Form and mail it to one of the addresses from the second page.
