On December 14, 2022, Lambton OPP advised the Sarnia Police Service of an off duty incident involving a Sarnia Police Officer. As a result of this investigation, the OPP has laid criminal charges against Sarnia Police Constable Jeremy Wilde.
Chief Derek Davis has placed Constable Wilde under administrative suspension pursuant to the provisions of the Police Services Act until the investigation and/or any related hearing processes have been concluded.
