Currently, the Sarnia Police Service is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from an address in the 400 block of Palmerston Street in the City of Sarnia.
The incident occurred on September 16, 2022, at approximately 7:45 PM. The vehicle that was stolen is described as a 1979 Chevrolet Camaro bearing Ontario licence plate CSFY949, and black in colour (please see photo below).
The vehicle was parked on a flatbed trailer with Ontario licence plate R7125K.
According to witnesses and information gathered two pickup trucks are alleged to have been involved. One truck was described as a grey Chevy pickup. The second pickup is believed to be a blue Chevy pickup. The grey truck was observed hitching up to the trailer with the assistance of the driver of the blue pickup and then leaving the area.
