On August 26, 2022, at approximately 4:00 AM, an officer traffic stop in relation to a Highway Traffic Act violation. Present in the vehicle were three occupants.
One of the occupants, an Amber-Lynn White, 27 years of age, was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody. Upon searching the accused the officer located quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cash.
Officers then searched the vehicle and located street ready fentanyl, pure fentanyl, methamphetamine, and more cash. This lead to the arrest of the two other occupants that were also in the vehicle.
The following is the total of the items seized:
- $7,840 in cash
- 157.2 grams of street ready fentanyl worth $31,440
- 75.6 grams of methamphetamine worth $3,580
- 21.1 grams of pure fentanyl that when mixed with an agent could produce up to 250 grams of street ready fentanyl with a value of $50,000
Nicole Rosemary Joseph, 28 years of age, and Amber Lynn Marie White, 27 years of age, of Sarnia, remain in custody and are being held pending a bail hearing.
Curtis Brown, 29 years of age, is now wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to this incident as he was transported to hospital for medical reasons.
All three parties involved face two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
