Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 254 calls for service. Calls included the following:
5 – 911 Hang-ups
10 – Alarms
11 – Ambulance assists
5 – Animal complaints
9 – Disturb the peace
14 – Domestic disputes
10 – Family disputes
7 – Mental Health Act related
7 – Motor vehicle collisions
9 – Neighbour disputes
7 – Noise complaints
15 – Person welfare/well-being checks
12 – Thefts
8 – Traffic complaints
9 – Trespass
14 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 43 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 88 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) for various offences.
