Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 192 calls for service. Calls included the following:
9 – Ambulance assists
5 – Disturb the peace
14 – Domestic disputes
5 – Mental Health Act
5 – Mischief
5 – Motor vehicle collisions
15 – Person welfare / well-being
4 – Thefts
4 – Threats
12 – Traffic complaints
6 – Trouble with youth
22 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 56 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 35 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
