Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 201 calls for service. Calls included the following:
5 – 911 hang-ups
18 – Alarms
8 – Ambulance assists
5 – Break and enter reports
9 – Disturb the peace
17 – Domestic disputes
9 – Mischief
8 – Noise complaints
9 – Person welfare / well-being checks
9 – Traffic complaints
6 – Trespass to property
14 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 21 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 18 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
