A 29 year old male from Sarnia now faces an additional charge after missing his court date.
The accused in this matter failed to appear in court as scheduled on March 23rd, 2022 for sentencing purposes after being convicted of Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On March 24, 2022, shortly after 3:30pm, the accused was located by Sarnia Police at a residence in the 1000 block of Willa Drive. The accused was placed under arrest on the strength of this warrant without any further incident. He was then transported to Sarnia Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Blake Robert Elijah Loxton will now answer to an additional charge of Failing to Attend Court.
