Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 172 calls for service. Calls included the following:
6 – 911 Hang-ups
13 – Alarms
6 – Ambulance assists
7 – Break and Enter Reports
14 – Domestic disputes
4 – Noise complaints
10 – Person welfare / well-being checks
5 – Thefts
7 – Traffic complaints / enforcement
5 – Trespass to property
12 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 31 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 17 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
