The Sarnia man was advised he would also be charged with Possession of Marihuana. He was transported to police headquarters.
When the officer checked his vehicle after the man was removed from it, several fentanyl patches with the packaging removed were found under the rear seat of the cruiser. Thirty-nine, 100 micro-gram packages of fentanyl were counted. This carries a street value of about $15,600.00. The man now faces an additional charge of Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is being held for bail.
