The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 213 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
7 – Alarms
11 – Ambulance assists
12 – Disturb the peace
10 – Domestic disputes
7 – Family disputes
7 – Mischief
13 – Noise complaints
14 – Person welfare / well-being checks
4 – Shoplifters
5 – Thefts
11 – Traffic complaints
10 – Trespass to property
13 – Unwanted persons
8 – Mental health related
Road officers conducted approximately 38 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 12 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
