The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 172 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
9 – Alarms
5 – Ambulance assists
5 – Disturb the peace
13 – Domestic disputes
10 – Family disputes
5 – Neighbour disputes
9 – Noise complaints
10 – Person welfare / well-being checks
4 – Shoplifts
5 – Thefts
7 – Trespass to property
10 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 45 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 31 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend, for various offences.
