Sarnia Police arrested a 33 year old Sarnia man at a home in the 300 block of Davis Street yesterday afternoon around 3:30 PM. The officer spotted some suspicious activity around the home and went to investigate. He heard noises coming from a garage on the property. He called out to whoever was in the garage but received no answer. The officer entered the garage and saw the man. He also saw two spoons on a work bench which had a substance stuck to them.
The man was also holding a knife in one hand and was removing rubber coating off of a piece of copper wire. The man was ordered to put down the knife. Behind the man was a bag containing more copper tubing. The man was arrested. Three used syringes were located in the man’s pockets.
He is being held for a bail hearing, facing charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Morphine, and Breach of Probation x 3.
