At approximately 5:30 PM, on January 9, 2021, the Sarnia Police Service, along with Sarnia Lambton Paramedics, responded to a male who had been injured and required medical attention at a residence in the 900 block of Confederation Street.
Upon arrival, a male victim was immediately transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as Luis Enrique Hernandez, 26 years of age, of Sarnia.
The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are actively investigating this incident as a homicide.
This incident appears to be an isolated event.
