The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 217 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
9 – Alarms
9 – Ambulance assists
10 – Disturb the peace
10 – Domestic disputes
9 – Family disputes
4 – Mischief
7 – Motor vehicle collisions
8 – Noise complaints
14 – Person welfare / well-being checks
2 – RIDE Programs
5 – Thefts
12 – Trespass to property
7 – Trouble with youth
19 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 47 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 37 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
