Residents in the Willa Drive area of Sarnia reported to police some thefts from vehicles as well as a break and enter to a shed and garage. Sarnia Police attended the Willa Drive area on the morning of September 22 to take reports from residents that unknown suspects were in the area earlier that morning. One particular home owner awoke at 3:30 AM to go to work and saw the trunk of his car open and his golf clubs lying on the driveway. Some of the clubs were missing. They are valued at approximately $500.00. The car doors were unlocked. Another area resident reported someone entered his car and took and GPS and a child’s backpack.
Another area resident reported his bike stolen from the backyard shed. The bike is valued at about $300. A garage in the 1200 block was entered and rummaged through. Nothing appeared to have been taken from the garage.
Please ensure you lock all doors on your property including cars, sheds and garages. Report any suspicious activity immediately. If you have information on who may be responsible for these thefts, please call Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
