The Sarnia Police is asking the public to remain away from the area of Brenchley Street and Murphy Road. Officers have closed Brenchley Street between Elizabeth Avenue and Murphy Road. Also, Murphy Road has been closed between London Road and Ryan Street.
We are asking for the public and traffic to remain away from the area. Both the Sarnia Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police are on scene investigating a suspicious package.
It is expected that the roads will be closed for the next several hours.
