Just prior to 4pm on today’s date, Sarnia Police responded to a weapons call on Scott Road, just north of Lasalle Road and issued a shelter in place for Aamjiwnaang First Nations Reserve. The shelter in place can now be lifted as police have deemed the area safe and there is no longer a threat to public safety.
At this time Police remain on scene as the investigation continues. Residents and businesses can continue normal operations.
An updated media release will follow tomorrow.
