On May 29, 2019 the Sarnia Police Service responded to 369 Plain Lane, located on Aamjiwnaag First Nation, regarding an active fire that the Sarnia Fire Department was fighting.
A vacated home was fully engulfed in fire and received extensive damage. The fire was extinguished with no one being injured.
Currently members of the Sarnia Police Service remain on scene as it is believed that the fire is suspicious in nature and are holding the residence as a crime scene to further their investigation into the incident.
