The Sarnia Primary Control Group has recently spoken with Imperial Oil officials regarding the ongoing status of the assessment of the collapsed tower and the surrounding structures.
A determination has now been made that Vidal Street South will fully re-open within the next hour (Sarnia Works Department require time to remove the barricades).
Further to this, Imperial Oil has advised the Sarnia Primary Control Group that they will continue to monitor and assess the situation to ensure the safety of all.
On behalf of the Sarnia Primary Control Group, we truly appreciate the public’s patience in this matter which allowed precautions to be put into place ensuring everyone’s safety.
