Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to 201 calls for service. Calls included the following:
10 – Alarms
7 – Ambulance Assists
8 – Break and Enter reports
11 – Disturb the Peace
8 – Domestic Disputes
8 – Motor Vehicle Collisions
6 – Noise Complaints
7 – Person Well-Being / Welfare Checks
7 – Thefts
9 – Unwanted Persons
Road officers conducted approximately 28 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 14 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various infractions.
As for St. Patrick’s Day, the Sarnia Police Service is happy to say that the luck of the Irish was shining down on us and that there was nothing of significance or out of the ordinary to report regarding Sunday night.
