As part of an going investigation by the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit it was determined that a 30 year old male from Sarnia was trafficking large quantities of methamphetamine within the City of Sarnia.
On March 7, 2019, at approximately 9:15 pm members of the Vice Unit, with assistance from the Sarnia Police Service COPPS unit, conducted a traffic stop of the suspect in his vehicle and arrested the accused on reasonable and probable grounds for possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
A search of the accused and his motor vehicle located over 8 ounces of methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $22,600.
The accused in this matter, Thomas David Deline, 30 years of age, of Sarnia, remains in custody pending a bail hearing for his release.
