The Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit entered into an investigation regarding a 52 year female from Sarnia who was believed to be trafficking drugs.
On July 5, 2018 the Vice Unit officers located the suspect female at an address on Old London Road in the City of Sarnia in her car with another female. Both suspects were arrested at 9:25 pm for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Officers located and seized approximately 74 grams of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. The street value is estimated to be approximately $7400. The 52 year old suspect was also found to be in possession of pepper spray (oleo capsicum spray).
In this matter Pamela Anne Hewgill, 52 years of age, of Sarnia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of breach of probation, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and breach of an undertaking.
The second female, Sydney Churchman, 37 year of age, of Sarnia, was charged with breach of an undertaking, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of breach of probation.
