On the 7th of July 2018 at approximately 930pm, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Murphy Rd just south of Bradford Dr.
At this time a 73 year old male pedestrian was crossing eastbound on Murphy Rd and was struck by a northbound motor vehicle being operated by a 46 year old male. The pedestrian was transported to Bluewater Health in Sarnia and died shortly after as a result of his injuries.
The Sarnia Police Service are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the investigating officer Detective Constable Jim McCabe at 519-344-8861 ext. 6167.
