On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at approximately 4:30 pm a contingent of local cycling enthusiasts and advocates will be participating in the Slowly Rolling on Colborne Road cycling event. The ride is intended to raise awareness regarding local cycling issues including the current Colborne Road bike lanes discussion.
The group will be marshalling at Baxter Park at 4:30pm and at 5:00pm will proceed south on Colborne Road en masse. They will travel to Rosedale Avenue where they will stop and then return north on Colborne Road.
The Sarnia Police Service will be present to ensure the safety of all those who are involved or impacted by this event and to facilitate the orderly flow of traffic. Motorists travelling through the affected areas are asked to use extra caution.
