Manslaughter charge pending

                On the 9^th of August 2017, Sarnia Police were called to a sudden death where the cause was believed to be an accidental overdose. On the 11^th of August 2017, members of the Criminal Investigations unit executed a search warrant in the 800 block of Devine Street and arrested a female party who was later charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. After a lengthy investigation, the Sarnia Police have arrested a party for manslaughter in relation to the sudden death investigation.
