On March 10, 2018, at approximately 2:00 am, a member of the Sarnia Police Service COPPS Unit observed a female that was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000, in the 100 block of Cameron Street.
The female was arrested without incident and taken into custody. As the female officer conducted a frisk search of the accused she located baggies that she suspected to be drugs.
The accused was transported to the station where a thorough search was conducted and baggies of crystal methamphetamine were located on the accused.
The approximate amount of crystal methamphetamine located was 37 grams with a street value of $3700.00.
The accused Shaunda Lynn Hooper, 40 years of age, from Sarnia, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
