The Sarnia Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a stolen statue with sentimental value.
Sometime over the evening of September 21st to the 22nd a statue of the Virgin Mary was stolen from the front lawn of an Oxford Street address. The statue was approximately three feet tall, the body was painted blue, head is white, a snake at the foot of the statue wrapped around an apple and the family name McCauley on the bottom. The statue weighed approximately 300 pounds.
