Earlier today, at approximately 12:30 pm, an officer from the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit began a hit and run investigation.
Information received was that an older model black Chevy pick-up truck was attempting to parallel park in front of the post office on Christina Street. During the process the driver struck a Nissan Pathfinder. The Chevy pick-up truck then left the area.
Information received was that the driver was an older male. Also, a female bystander that was walking by is believed to have taken pictures during the incident which may be useful in the investigation.
