Upon further investigation of the February 1st robbery which occurred at the CIBC bank on Lochiel St and Front St in the City of Sarnia, the Sarnia Police Service has arrested a second accused person.
On February 4, 2017 members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch, Identification Branch and the Community Response Division conducted a search warrant in the 400 block of Greenfield St, in the Town of Petrolia. During the warrant, a 61 year old female was arrested.
This female faces charges of:
- Robbery
- Accessory to robbery after the fact
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Conspiracy to commit the indictable offence of robbery
The female is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
